Since Faith stopped shoving things in her mouth, playdough time is one of her favorite indoor activities!

OK. So I'm not really a Do-It-Yourself sort of person.

But after finding out how easy it is to make homemade playdough, fingerpaint and other stuff for play, I thought that even the process of making it would be a great learning experience for Faith (after all, she's at this stage where she loves helping me out in the kitchen).

Here are some homemade playdough recipe instructions and other recipes for play such as fingerpainting, bubbles, clay and all sorts of goop and slime!

These recipes for play can all be made with ingredients that you can easily obtain. And they have been well tested by children and adults!

Fingerpaint Recipes
